TTT Update # 3 – A business meeting and magnifico Firenze

April 15, 2018 By //  by Harold Johnson 5 Comments

Ciao everyone.  Please checkout and like our Facebook page here and our Instagram page here to see more frequent updates and pictures…

Here is our Friday in Florence update:

On Friday, Harold and the rest of his TTT team had a business meeting with a potential travel partner and tourism organization that has a special division for accessible travel needs specifically in Italy and the Florence and Tuscany area.  We had a fantastic initial introductory meeting to share our organizations mutual missions, and discuss future ways to partner.  It was very exciting and holds a lot of potential for us to help make travel more accessible to Italy (Harold’s favorite destination) for our American friends and community.  Partnering with this organization would help us coordinate all of the special needs of a disabled traveler from transports to accommodations, wheelchair rentals, and/or guided tours.  To have local partners on the ground who understand accessible travel needs is so important, and will be instrumental is helping us plan great reliable itineraries for our clients.

Harold showed off his language skills as usual in conversations with the leaders.

Much more to come on this exciting partnership in the coming months.

Harold making some international connections.

After our morning meeting, we heading to Florence for a guided orientation tour that was very informative, and gave us some great historical context of Florence and it’s amazing art and architectural marvels, including the huge and magnificent Duomo.  Check out some of the pics from our day in Florence.

I really enjoyed viewing your pictures and reading your itinerary. It made me feel as though I was there too! Thanks for sharing your trip, Harold. I have a question though: how much gelato did you consume?! 😀
