Buongiorno dall’italia!! Good Morning from Italy!!
Yesterday was a full day of travel as The Thoughtful Travelers took off from Newark airport (EWR) on a red-eye to Rome (FCO). We arrived mid afternoon and checked into our Airbnb apartment in Rome literally a block from the Trevi Fountain, or fontana di Trevi. We met Steve’s son Chase as well who will be doing some filming for us this week. Off to explore the Colosseum and Vatican, but here are some quick Day 1 highlights and pics below:
- Harold’s chair slightly delayed waiting to deplane upon arrival in Rome
- Roman streets are BUMPY!! We might need to add shocks to Har’s chair
- Steve and Har get their first of their daily Gelato’s!!
- Pizza, pasta and wine is Magnifico!
- Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon….CHECK

I am over the moon excited to finally see photos of Harold in ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing and making me filled with joy! TSA doing their job, poor chair all alone on the tarmac, and great seats on the plane! The photos of the streets, buildings, people I can almost hear the sounds and smell the deliciousness that is Italy! Remember Harold to describe every bit to us! Chase is there twinning with Steve, love this and Susan, beautiful always! Please show us more inside of the place you are staying, so curious! Love you all, enjoy every moment! Ciao, Michele
