Global Accessibility Awareness Day – 3 Things

May 17, 2018 By //  by Harold Johnson Leave a Comment

1. ) New Helpful Videos posted:

In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day we have added a new menu area called “Helpful Accessible Travel Videos”.  These videos are intended to help take the stress and anxiety out of travel because we believe when you see how it works for someone else, you get a better understanding of how it might actually work for you or your loved one.  Obviously everyone has different levels of disability and different needs, but whether booking ground transportation, booking a room, air or train tickets, the most important thing is to make sure you clearly communicate your needs.  Let them know the size of the wheelchair, what type of assistance you need, and just don’t be afraid to ask questions.  Check out these videos and share this link with any one you think could benefit.  Here is the link, but it clearly labeled on our main menu under “Helpful Accessible Travel Videos”.

2.) Harold featured in iDevices technology Blog in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day!

In addition, check out the blog post featuring Harold, by iDevices, a local CT tech company that manufactures Smart Home technology that is making Harold’s life more independent.  Check out the full blog article by clicking here.
